Due to the ever increasing demand and growth of the fibre industry in South Africa Falcon Electronics saw an opportunity to create a fibre distribution division. Fibrenet was then registered in early 1997.

Concentrating on the education and perception of fibre optics in the installer environment is of prime importance. But focus on the end user is not forgotten, to this end fibrenet believes in supplying complete solutions to the customer. As the industry has demanded the company is not completely product driven and is willing to supply according to the customers needs. Fibrenet offers branded products as well as customer requested products. Personalised patchpanels with company logo and or name are available. Pre-packed splice kits are also made to meet the requested need of the customer.
